SUMMARY:LOTO and Electrical Safety Training
DESCRIPTION:This half-day course combines Lockout/Tagout procedures with electrical safety fundamentals. Participants will learn how to control hazardous energy during equipment servicing and maintenance\, and how to identify and mitigate electrical hazards. The course meets OSHA 1910.147 and NFPA 70E standards. \nLearning Objectives \n\nIdentify sources of hazardous energy and electrical risks\nApply lockout/tagout procedures to isolate equipment\nUnderstand OSHA 1910.147 and NFPA 70E requirements\nRecognize arc flash hazards and use appropriate PPE\nDocument and verify energy control procedures\n\nParticipants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS.
