SUMMARY:Respiratory Protection Training
DESCRIPTION:This half-day course provides an overview of OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134) and the proper use of respirators in the workplace. Participants will learn about respiratory hazards\, types of respirators\, fit testing\, maintenance\, and storage. The training is essential for employees working in environments with airborne contaminants. \nLearning Objectives \n\nIdentify respiratory hazards and exposure risks\nSelect appropriate respirators for specific tasks\nUnderstand fit testing and medical evaluation requirements\nMaintain and store respiratory equipment properly\nDevelop and follow a written respiratory protection program\n\nParticipants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS.
