SUMMARY:Fall Protection – Competent Person Training
DESCRIPTION:Registration has closed for the Fall Protection Training. If you are interested in taking this training\, please contact Paige Riley at paige@ccs-safety.org.  \nThe Fall Protection Competent Person Refresher Training is a focused 4-hour course designed to reinforce and update the expertise of competent persons responsible for managing fall protection systems\, in accordance with OSHA Standard 1926.503(a)(1). This regulation mandates that employees exposed to fall hazards receive ongoing training to recognize and mitigate risks. The course covers advanced fall protection strategies\, inspection of equipment\, hazard identification\, and regulatory compliance. Participants will review their roles in developing\, implementing\, and monitoring fall protection plans while staying current on industry standards and innovations. This refresher ensures that competent persons maintain the knowledge and skills necessary to train others in how to prevent fall-related incidents and protect worker safety. \nCCS is partnering with the Environmental Management Institute at Ivy Tech to provide this training.
