DESCRIPTION:This course has unfortunately been cancelled due to low attendance. Please review the other upcoming Safety Training Days to sign up for another course you are interested in.\nThis 4-hour course introduces OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). Participants will learn to interpret chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)\, recognize chemical hazards\, and apply safe handling procedures in the workplace. \nLearning Objectives \n\nInterpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical labels\nRecognize physical and health hazards of chemicals\nUnderstand the purpose and structure of the GHS\nApply safe handling and storage practices\nComply with employer responsibilities under OSHA 1910.1200\n\nParticipants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS.
