SUMMARY:April 2026 Safety Directors Forum
DESCRIPTION:Arc Flash Awareness\nJoin CCS for its Safety Directors Forum on Wednesday\, April 22\, focused on arc flash awareness\, prevention\, and the critical role of lockout/tagout (LOTO) in reducing exposure risks. This session will be led by Jake Powers of Safety Resources. \nRather than a full arc flash training\, this forum will provide a high-level overview designed to build awareness and spark discussion among safety leaders. Jake will outline foundational arc flash concepts and explore how arc flash incidents often occur when LOTO cannot be used—or is not properly utilized—helping attendees better connect these two critical safety topics in real-world construction and contractor maintenance environments. This session will be peer-driven and interactive\, encouraging open discussion around challenges\, considerations\, and best practices. \nAttendees can earn up to 0.1 CEU credit for this event by attending and completing a comprehensive check. Safety Resources is our authorized IACET CEU provider. \nThe CCS Safety Directors’ Forum is a great way to connect with your peers in the construction and contractor maintenance industry. Everyone is welcome\, so please join CCS on April 22 from 8:00am – 9:30am ET at Bowen Engineering\, 8802 N Meridian St\, Indianapolis\, IN 46260 or online for this hybrid event.
