SUMMARY:Fall Protection Competent Person Training
DESCRIPTION:This full-day\, 8-hour Competent Person training equips participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize and mitigate fall hazards in the workplace. Upon successful completion of this course\, participants will meet the training requirements to serve as a Competent Person under OSHA standards. \nThe course aligns with OSHA 1926.503 and emphasizes the proper use of fall protection systems\, hazard recognition\, equipment inspection\, and regulatory compliance. \nLearning Objectives \n\nIdentify common fall hazards in construction and general industry\nUnderstand OSHA requirements for fall protection systems\nDemonstrate proper use of harnesses\, lanyards\, and anchors\nConduct equipment inspections and recognize signs of wear\nDevelop and implement site-specific fall protection plans\n\nParticipants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS.
