DESCRIPTION:As we all know\, the Covid pandemic has created many challenges that employers are now facing. One of these challenges is a decline in the mental health of our workforce. To help us better understand this obstacle and learn successful ways to navigate through it\, the Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS) and the Central Indiana American Society of Safety Professionals (CI-ASSP) will be hosting a joint event on Wednesday\, September 22 at the CCS office from 8:00 – 9:30am. \nDuring this event\, Jennifer Pferrer (Executive Director – Wellness Council of Indiana) will review current mental health trends in Indiana\, explain how stigma related to mental health can be damaging\, and present different ways employers can provide much needed support. Following this presentation\, a representative from Lippert and Steinberger Construction will join Jennifer to participate in a panel discussion. \nThis event will be held in person with a limit of 50 people.
