SUMMARY:CCS March Safety Directors Forum: Security on the Jobsite
DESCRIPTION:Safety managers know what it takes to keep workers safe on their job sites\, but that can be a different story when it comes to protecting outsiders who may venture into an area under construction. Projects often are in busy locations where people are walking or driving by on a regular basis. How do you protect your workers as well as people in the community? \nJoin CCS for its March Safety Directors Forum to hear from attorney Sean Devenney of Drewry Simmons Vornehm who will discuss how you can best protect your company and those who may be living or working near your jobsite. \nThe session will address: \n\nBesides fences\, what can you do to protect your jobsites from those who must navigate around them?\nHow do you protect both your company and curiosity seekers from hazards on a jobsite?\nWhat can you do to be in the best position legally should an incident occur?\n\nThe CCS Safety Directors’ Forum is a great way to connect with your peers in the construction and contractor maintenance industry. Everyone is welcome so please join CCS on March 24th at 8:00 a.m. EST for this FREE webinar. Please click on the link below to register. Instructions for the webinar will be emailed to those who register. \nCEUs will be available. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER

SUMMARY:CCS January Safety Directors Forum: CBD Oil\, Marijuana and the Impact on Drug Testing
DESCRIPTION:Join CCS on January 27th from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. for our virtual CCS Safety Directors forum on CBD Oil\, Marijuana and the Impact on Drug Testing. \nHow does recreational use of Marijuana\, and/or the use of CBD Oil Impact a CDL holder or employer of a commercial driver as well as employers with high safety sensitive functioning employees? \nWith 30+ states legalizing medical marijuana\, 10+ states plus DC legalizing recreational use\, marijuana-induced driving under the influence (DUI) is a growing safety concern. Indiana is now surrounded by states that have legalized the use of marijuana and Indiana passed approval for the sale of CBD oils and creams over two years ago. How does this impact employers of CDL holders and the driver themselves? What happens if a CDL holder tests positive\, even if not under the influence at the time of testing? How does impact employers with high function safety sensitive employees? \nCynthia Able has been in the drug and alcohol industry for 15 plus years. She specializes in compliance program management and policy review. Cynthia Able is also a certified MROA. She has worked with many companies to better educate them on the drug and alcohol rules and regulations also making sure they meet all compliance needs for safety sensitive employees. \nCEUS will be available for this event. \nEveryone is welcome so please join CCS on January 27th at 8:00 a.m. for this FREE webinar. You will receive instructions on how to join the webinar after registering. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER
