Respiratory Protection Training

This half-day course provides an overview of OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134) and the proper use of respirators in the workplace. Participants will learn about respiratory hazards, types of respirators, fit testing, maintenance, and storage. The training is essential for employees working in environments with airborne contaminants.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify respiratory hazards and exposure risks
  • Select appropriate respirators for specific tasks
  • Understand fit testing and medical evaluation requirements
  • Maintain and store respiratory equipment properly
  • Develop and follow a written respiratory protection program

Participants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS. The training is OSHA compliant and certified by ARS.

Instructor

Clint Crafton, Advanced Rescue Solutions
Clinton is a retired Deputy Chief of Operations from Whitestown Fire Department and previously served 22 years with Fishers Fire Department. He led the dive rescue team and coordinated special operations. Clinton is a former Public Safety Dive Instructor and FDIC HOT instructor, and author of ARS Technical Rescue Crib Notes.
