A strong safety culture doesn’t happen by luck—it’s built intentionally, reinforced daily, and owned at every level of an organization. In this session, Bruce Guiliani, retired Safety Professional, leads an interactive discussion focused on what safety culture really is, why it matters, and how construction leaders can strengthen it in practical, measurable ways.
Participants will explore the core elements of an effective safety culture, the business and human benefits of getting it right, and common pitfalls that can undermine progress. This session is designed to be highly collaborative—attendees with established safety cultures are encouraged to share real-world stories about what worked, what didn’t, and what helped move the needle.
Expect candid conversation, peer-to-peer learning, and actionable strategies to help translate safety values into everyday behaviors across your organization.

Each attendee that completes a speaker evaluation and answers the comprehension questions will receive 0.2 CEU for each safety session of the series for a total of 0.6 CEUs for the entire series. Safety Resources is our authorized IACET CEU provider.
