
Hazard Communication Training
This 4-hour course introduces OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). Participants will learn to interpret chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), recognize chemical hazards, and apply safe handling procedures in the workplace.
Learning Objectives
- Interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical labels
- Recognize physical and health hazards of chemicals
- Understand the purpose and structure of the GHS
- Apply safe handling and storage practices
- Comply with employer responsibilities under OSHA 1910.1200
Participants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS. The training is OSHA compliant and certified by ARS.

Clinton is a retired Deputy Chief of Operations from Whitestown Fire Department and previously served 22 years with Fishers Fire Department. He led the dive rescue team and coordinated special operations. Clinton is a former Public Safety Dive Instructor and FDIC HOT instructor, and author of ARS Technical Rescue Crib Notes.
