
Confined Space Training
This full-day course course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely enter and work in confined spaces. The course covers OSHA 1926 Subpart AA requirements, including hazard identification, atmospheric testing, entry permits, and emergency procedures. It is designed for workers and supervisors who may encounter confined spaces such as tanks, vaults, and pits.
Learning Objectives
- Define and identify permit-required confined spaces
- Conduct atmospheric monitoring and interpret results
- Understand roles of entrants, attendants, and supervisors
- Follow entry permit procedures and emergency protocols
- Implement rescue strategies and use appropriate PPE
Participants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS. The training is OSHA compliant and certified by ARS.

Instructor
Todd Taylor, Advanced Rescue Solutions
Todd has over 36 years in the fire service and currently serves as Ladder 82 Captain with Wayne Township Fire Department. He is a Rescue Team Manager with FEMA INTF-1, lead instructor for FDIC Heavy Truck Extrication, and Director of Advanced Rescue Solutions. Todd has been involved in technical rescue since 1995 and is a seasoned FDIC classroom and HOT instructor.
