
LOTO and Electrical Safety Training
This half-day course combines Lockout/Tagout procedures with electrical safety fundamentals. Participants will learn how to control hazardous energy during equipment servicing and maintenance, and how to identify and mitigate electrical hazards. The course meets OSHA 1910.147 and NFPA 70E standards.
Learning Objectives
- Identify sources of hazardous energy and electrical risks
- Apply lockout/tagout procedures to isolate equipment
- Understand OSHA 1910.147 and NFPA 70E requirements
- Recognize arc flash hazards and use appropriate PPE
- Document and verify energy control procedures
Participants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS. The training is OSHA compliant and certified by ARS.

Clint Crafton, Advanced Rescue Solutions
Clinton is a retired Deputy Chief of Operations from Whitestown Fire Department and previously served 22 years with Fishers Fire Department. He led the dive rescue team and coordinated special operations. Clinton is a former Public Safety Dive Instructor and FDIC HOT instructor, and author of ARS Technical Rescue Crib Notes.
