July 2026 CCS Safety Directors Forum

July 22 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Join CCS on Wednesday, July 22 for our upcoming Safety Directors Forum, where, following her introduction at this year’s CCS Awards Celebration, Charmaine Mullins-Jaime, Assistant Professor at Indiana State University, will expand on her research examining leading indicators and best practices in the construction industry—and how they directly relate to safety performance outcomes.

Drawing from an analysis of approximately 400 audit criteria across 263 CCS participating companies, her work explores the connection between proactive safety measures and key metrics such as TRIR, DART, and EMR.

During this session, Charmaine will provide deeper insight into:

  • The role of leading indicators in predicting safety outcomes
  • Key practices associated with lower incident rates, including near-miss reporting, emergency planning, and safety goal tracking
  • The importance of workplace analysis, communication, and corrective actions in building stronger safety cultures

This forum provides a valuable opportunity to engage with research-backed insights, ask questions, and collaborate across the construction safety community—don’t miss this opportunity to bring fresh, data-driven insights back to your team.

Attendees can earn up to 0.1 CEU credit for this event by attending and completing a comprehensive check. Safety Resources is our authorized IACET CEU provider.

The CCS Safety Directors’ Forum is a great way to connect with your peers in the construction and contractor maintenance industry.
