Fall Protection Training

This full-day training equips participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize and mitigate fall hazards in the workplace. The course aligns with OSHA 1926.503 standards and emphasizes the proper use of fall protection systems, equipment inspection, and regulatory compliance.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify common fall hazards in construction and general industry
  • Understand OSHA requirements for fall protection systems
  • Demonstrate proper use of harnesses, lanyards, and anchors
  • Conduct equipment inspections and recognize signs of wear
  • Develop and implement site-specific fall protection plans

Participants will receive a printed certificate of completion from ARS. The training is OSHA compliant and certified by ARS.

Instructors

Todd Taylor, Advanced Rescue Solutions
Todd has over 36 years in the fire service and currently serves as Ladder 82 Captain with Wayne Township Fire Department. He is a Rescue Team Manager with FEMA INTF-1, lead instructor for FDIC Heavy Truck Extrication, and Director of Advanced Rescue Solutions. Todd has been involved in technical rescue since 1995 and is a seasoned FDIC classroom and HOT instructor.

Clint Crafton, Advanced Rescue Solutions
Clinton is a retired Deputy Chief of Operations from Whitestown Fire Department and previously served 22 years with Fishers Fire Department. He led the dive rescue team and coordinated special operations. Clinton is a former Public Safety Dive Instructor and FDIC HOT instructor, and author of ARS Technical Rescue Crib Notes.
